Add Bring The Pup To Your Phone Home Screen

Bring The Pup can be added to a phone or tablet home screen so the map opens more like a lightweight app. It uses the same website, the same search tools, and the same saved places and recent searches on that device.

This is optional. You can keep using Bring The Pup in a regular browser tab if that is easier.

Install The Home Screen App

Use the button below when your browser offers it, or follow the device-specific steps.

iPhone or iPad
  1. Open Bring The Pup in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button.
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add.
Android

In Chrome or another supported browser, tap Install App when the button appears. You can also open the browser menu and choose Add to Home screen or Install app.

What Gets Saved

Saved places and recent searches stay in your own browser or home-screen app storage on that device. Bring The Pup does not receive, store, sync, or sell your saved-place shortlist or recent-search list.

If you clear browser data, use a private browsing window, switch devices, or uninstall the home-screen app, those local lists may disappear.

Why The Install Button May Not Appear

Some browsers decide when to show an install prompt. On iPhone and iPad, Safari uses the Share menu instead of an install button. On Android, the button may appear only after the browser recognizes the site as installable.
